Spider veins

Spider veins is the web of small, dilated superficial blood vessels that can usually be found on the face, thighs, calves and ankles. They are considered to be harmless, but people who have them may experience pain, swelling or a burning sensation, as well as a feeling of heaviness in the legs. Besides hereditary factors, they tend to be more common and pronounced as we get older. They can also develop due to hormonal imbalances, prolonged sitting or standing, as well as pregnancy.
