Wrinkles

Wrinkles are folds and creases in the skin that can be in the form of fine surface lines or deeper furrows. Wrinkles unavoidably appear as we age, but there are other factors that promote them, such as sun damage, facial muscle contraction and smoking. With the loss of collagen and elastin from the dermis, the skin gets thinner, the epidermis becomes saggy, and eventually – wrinkles appear.
